As part of the Malatestiana Music Festival, the music series ‘Percuotere la mente’ (Striking the Mind), dedicated to new sounds, offers concerts and special events from June to October at the Corte degli Agostiniani, the Galli Theatre and Teatro degli Atti. 
The stage of the Teatro degli Atti hosts Without Blood there is no Cause, a project by Oscar Pizzo and Fabio Cherstich, which pays homage to the powerful and scandalous music of Julius Eastman, a great artist marked by a tragic life, who made themes such as identity, diversity, and the struggle for the rights of the oppressed at the centre of his sound and visual exploration, becoming a spokesperson for the memory of the American black and queer community.
