Rimini, the beating heart of summer, is preparing for Ferragosto, offering a rich and varied programme for a long weekend of celebrations. The city comes alive with a kaleidoscope of small and large events ranging from culture to music, from food to entertainment, and every corner of the city promises experiences to be enjoyed both at the seaside and in the historic centre. A perfect opportunity to discover the many facets of the city, fully enjoying its summer vitality.

Art, taste and atmosphere under the stars
For those who love the combination of cinema and good food, the Cinepicnic at Parco XXV Aprile (Parco Marecchia) is an event not to be missed. From 13 to 17 August, the most evocative cinema arena of the summer offers five evenings of cinema under the stars, for adults and children alike, in the setting of the two-thousand-year-old Tiberius Bridge. Bring a blanket and enjoy a picnic in the cool of the park, while a food stand welcomes the public every evening from 7 p.m. For a culinary journey through Italian excellence, Arte e Gusto in Piazzale Fellini, from 14 to 17 August, offers a street food area full of food trucks and a craft market, enlivened by music and entertainment, just a stone's throw from the sea and the Grand Hotel in Rimini.

A dive into the past and future of music
On 15 August, the Arena Francesca da Rimini, in the historic centre, will relive the atmosphere of the 1980s with “Rimini '80 E tu dov'eri nel 2025?”. A tribute to Lo Slego and the underground cultures that marked an era, rediscovering a period that shaped the Riviera's imagination, with special guest Oscar Giammarinaro (Statuto).
For those looking for more contemporary rhythms,  also on 15 August, the Rimini Beach Arena in Miramare will become the beating heart of international electronic music and host the event ‘Cocoricò on the beach’, where the beach will be brought to life by renowned DJs such as Pawsa, Seth Troxler, Omar S, Miguel & Tons and DJ Cream.

Rimini at dawn : spirituality, music and sport
Living dawn in Rimini is a unique experience, and Ferragosto offers several opportunities to do so, combining moments of reflection with concerts and outdoor activities.
On Friday 15 August at dawn, the rising sun provides the backdrop for the traditional Ferragosto Mass, presided over by the Bishop of Rimini, an event that brings together hundreds of people every year in a moment of peace and spirituality at the beach n. 62.
Also on Friday 15th, at the Parco degli Artisti in Vergiano di Rimini, you can enjoy an evocative free concert at dawn. The musicians of Rimini Classica celebrate their tenth anniversary with a performance in a magical atmosphere.
To start the day in a more dynamic way, on Sunday 17 August, Bagno 89 invites you to “Sunrise at sea and breakfast on a SUP”, where you can enjoy the spectacle of the sun rising while paddling on a SUP board, and conclude the experience with a delicious breakfast by the sea.

Events in the historic centre
Alongside these particular occasions, Rimini's regular summer events continue. On Friday evenings, the historic centre is also enlivened by a market selling antiques, modern antiques, vintage items and artistic crafts. On Saturdays, visitors have the opportunity to see the Tiberius Bridge from a new perspective with 'Different perspectives: by boat under the Tiberius Bridge' and the evening show in memory of the sacrifice of the Three Martyrs of Rimini at the Corte degli Agostiniani, while on Sunday the Arena Francesca da Rimini hosts “Sonata per Tubi”, the contemporary circus of the Compagnia Nando e Maila.
